Mission Statement
The website "Immune-monitoring.de" has been created in order to generate a forum for all who are interested in immune-monitoring. The idea developed in response to the high frequency of questions from all over the world related to immune monitoring / clinical immunology.
Immunology is a very fast expanding science, and almost every day new results in both basic and clinical orientated fields are flooding in, making it difficult to keep control about everything. This website will help to gain fast access to new results in clinical immunology / immune monitoring in a convenient way. The website is not intended to be some kind of "bible" for immune monitoring which has to be followed passively: you are invited to participate actively by both sending in new data and making use of the discussion forum. Your engagement will be the prerequisite to make the website live. We also invite you to use the Guest book option for telling us about good as well as bad things regarding this website. This will help to improve its quality and make it even more suitable for you to use. As the website is still in production, please do not wonder about some topics/options which cannot be used so far. Things are developing, and again, it is up to you to keep the site in life. If you have any questions concerning the website please feel free to contact the webmanager (webmaster@immune-monitoring.de) at any time. So far, you will find forums like adult sepsis, neutropenia and peri-operative monitoring, which are all summarized in the topic intensive care medicine. Further topics as allergy, tumor immunology and transplantation are in preparation.
Finally, it is important to state that this website has not been created for commercial purposes. It is sponsored by different companies/institutions. All of them appear on a separate page with links either directly to their home pages or to separate companies pages created for this website.
Wishing you great pleasure and help in your daily work by using this website, Conny Hoeflich, Hans-Dieter Volk & Ralf Dostatni, initiators of the website.
